1. Send the pre-qualification form

When learners are booked on an event, each one gets a link to a short form before their CIAG call. Pick an event.
Booked→Form sent→Form returned→Agent: accept / needs a person / reject→CIAG call scheduled→Call done
You are looking at whatsees when they open their link. Fill it in and press Submit.

A few quick questions before your careers call. It takes about two minutes. If something stops you joining, we will tell you now and not 20 minutes into a call.

3. Agent review

The agent reads each returned form and decides: accept, needs a person, or reject with a reason. Every decision shows the rule that made it, so the CIAG team can correct the rule and not just the answer.

The rules it uses today

    4. CIAG pipeline

One live list with a status for every learner, so nobody sends spreadsheets round and asks for updates at the end of the day.

    Where learners are

Will they carry on? Predicted completers against places

Each learner has a likelihood to continue, from the form answers. It is a guess until we have real outcomes. About 25% of booked learners drop out today, so the plan is up to 50 booked to land about 40.

    5. Reasons map

Every free-text answer and every decision is labelled with a reason. This shows which questions on the form earn their place, and which never change a decision.

Why learners were rejected, flagged, or at risk

Which question on the form does what

A question that never changed a decision is a candidate to drop. This is how we could argue for a lighter check on a four-week course.

    Suggested changes to the form

Worked out from the answers above. Press Add to the form and the question appears on screen 2, ready for the next learner. A question marked to learn has no evidence yet. It is there to find the cause.

Theme map: every answer is a dot

Each dot is one learner's answer. Dots sit inside the code they were given, and codes sit under a theme. Click a dot to read the answer. An answer with two codes appears in both. The coding here is keyword matching, a stand-in for a proper semantic read of the text.
